Rosmarinus officinalis grows in dry scrub and rocky places, especially near the sea (Plants For A Future, n.d.-t). Found from southern Europe to western Asia, Rosmarinus officinalis is an evergreen shrub that grows at a moderate rate to 1.5 m (5 ft). The whole plant is aromatic.
