Hair Restoration Organic Hair Products

Why do we apply beauty products? Did you ever have a chance to think about it?

We apply these products as it makes us feel good and look good about ourselves. Following a beauty ritual in the mornings gives me a 5 minute escape to an oasis of feel good and smell good with knowing the fact that I know I put good on my face, hair and body.

I wanted to write a blog this week into attention to Kazani Lovers after reading in the news that Dr. Shanna Swan, an environmental and reproductive epidemiologist at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, is warning the impending fertility crisis poses a global threat.(2) She is one of the world’s leading environmental and reproductive epidemiologists.(3)

Obviously with modern society and the comfort it brings into our lives from so called modern nutrition, environmental pollution, phthalates, it also brings us discomfort and may wreak havoc on a threat to humanity over the next 20 years. According to her research, there has been a decrease of sperm count around the world.

  • Fertility has dropped more than 50% over the past 50 years worldwide
  • In some parts of the world, 20-something women today are less fertile than their grandmothers were at 35
  • A man today has only half the number of sperms his grandfather had (4)

What caught my attention is everything and especially everything that includes cosmetics. It says that “phthalates” are also a threat cause to humanity.

What is PHTHALATES?

Phthalates are a group of chemicals used in hundreds of products, such as toys, vinyl flooring and wall covering, detergents, lubricating oils, food packaging, pharmaceuticals, blood bags and tubing, and personal care products, such as nail polish, hair sprays, aftershave lotions, soaps, shampoos, perfumes and other.

This is one of the reasons why I wanted to talk about this topic. PHTALATES. We are a vegan brand. Kazani makes its utmost attention to natural and safe ingredients. We have an natural intensive hair and scalp serum that doesn’t contain phtalates. It also comes in a glass bottle.

This overnight multi-use serum, with plant-based ingredients, hydrates and nourishes the hair from the scalp to promote healthier-looking hair growth and help restore its healthy shine. An artisanal blend of herbs, flowers and cold-pressed walnut and pine oils, our fast-absorbing serum hydrates while helping to fortify thin hair. It helps soothe itchy scalps, decrease flakes, heals split ends, banishes flyaways and restores a healthy shine. Use directly on the scalp and hair to strengthen and protect from pollution and other environmental factors. Intensive Hair & Scalp Serum (kazanibeauty.com)

A few tips identified in “Count Down” and by panelists: (1)

  • Buy fresh, unprocessed food.
  • Don’t eat canned food, unless you know how or whether manufacturers line their cans.
  • Don’t eat out of plastic, or heat food in plastic.
  • Pay attention to cosmetics and personal care products, using guides like those generated by the Environmental Working Group.
  • Don’t handle thermal paper receipts, as they are a chief pathway for BPA.
